Both volumes present and matching. The work is a celebration of fishing through prose and verse. In the publisher's quarter vellum bindings. A large selection of additional footnotes regarding the bibliographical history of the work and the author's own sources have been added to this edition. There are several new illustrations included too. With fifty-three illustrations in total, being 43 full page engravings on Japon paper. The plates are engraved by Audinet Linnel, with twelve in-text engravings after drawings by GE Lodge. In quarter vellum bindings with cloth covered boards. Green with a gilt heron on front and a gilt fish, lettering, and accents at spine. General light shelf wear.
