- The trailing shield is designed for when the mower moving forward only. Pushing the mower backwards when the trailing shield is installed will likely get damaged or broken by the blades inside. To maintain it service life, it is recommended to push the mower only forwards when the shield is installed on.
- These parts came plastic expansion anchors (see pix). Need to remove them from part and “lightly “ hold them with wide jaw pliers and install factory screw until seated. Install new guard in on mower and tap anchor/screw assembly into place and you are done.
