This is a 3 band radio, tested on FM and very good reception 

The tape player plays, rewinds and fast forwards, not tested on recording but no reason to think it won't.

The counter works

Volume works, goes up to very loud, occasional static and sometimes the volume doesn't change evenly when you turn the knob but a bit of patience and you can get the volume you want within a few seconds of trying 

Also tested with headphones and works fine

 If you want perfect sound quality buy a fancy new radio,  but this is very good for its age!

Comes with mains power lead but I found it didnt fit well in the 2 pin plug adaptor on the wall, it was tested with a standard three pin plug power lead and worked fine, so you could use one off another device or find a 2 pin adaptor that fits this power lead better than mine did.

Instruction book is in very good condition just bent on one corner
