The fabric of these napkins is some of the most beautiful linen I have ever seen, very sheer, feels almost like silk.  They all have hemstitched edges, and beautiful cut work and embroidery which I think was done by machine.  Best of all, I don’t think they have ever been used!

I bought these at a house closing the Berkshires  and  then sold my Brownstone (with a beautiful period dining

Room) before I could use them. I have examined each one and found that one of luncheon  napkins had a tiny hole which is only visible if you hold it to the light. This same napkin has a microscopic red mark on the edge.

Here are the details on each set of  the 3 sets of napkins:

Same Pattern:

12 18” by 18” dinner napkins, all in mint condition

9 13 1/2 “ by 13 ½” luncheon napkins all in mint condtion

1 13 ½” by 13 ½” luncheon napkin with microscopic hole and tiny red mark mentioned above.

Second Pattern

3 18” by 18” dinner napkins all in mint condition (the pattern is similar enough to use with the other 12 napkins above.
