The collection begins from the 21st of October 1899 with an article about the 74th battery of the Royal Field Artillery last supper in OLYMPIA and their arrival in South Africa.
The articles include details of the Stormberg Battle, Cape Colony, Howitzer batteries, daily life of troops and special menu of Christmas, relief of Kimberley, Surrender of Cronje, Ladysmith, Lord Roberts etc…
This album has not been finished, there are many articles to be attached (ills. of Montmorency, Stations of the British Army, Coonel Baden Powell, map of Johannesburg and Pretoria, Mafeking, Garrison, Great Battle at Glencoe, Ladysmith, Lord Roberts, Ashanti etc…)
