Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this delightful Aurora 88 Red Mamba Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Aurora presentation box (including outer) and stamped information booklet - confirming first purchase on 29th August 2023. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in fantastic condition. Only 888 were produced and this is number 543.
The Aurora 88 Mamba is a legendary series and this is the vibrant 'Red Mamba'. The pen is crafted from red resin, which has a guilloche "grana di riso" design. The trim is finished in satin black PVD.
The pen is fitted with an 18k extra fine nib - it originally had slightly poor ink flow, so it was worked on by our preferred nib specialist, as such we'd say it's more like a fine now, rather than an EF. It's a piston filler, so bottled ink is your choice here.
