Set of 20 die cut stickers issued in the 1970's by Caltex petroleum. There are 20 different Disney characters. The stickers measure 96mm x 82mm.
Released by Caltex in the 1970's. Stickers are in very good condition. However, there are stains. Please look closely at the pictures. If you have any questions, just ask. History of the stickers is a bit of a mystery. From what I have found the stickers were produced and issued in Australia, South Africa, Singapore and possibly New Zealand where petrol is sold under the Caltex brand. There were at least 4 series issued. Two series 1-20 with solid colouring showing the Caltex logo. One had WDP printed under the Caltex logo, the other did not. Only a few characters appeared in both issues. The other two series 1-20 had the same characters in both issues with softer pastel type colouring. One had the Caltex logo only, the other had the Caltex logo and a Boron additive logo. The set up for sale has the softer colouring and has 3 stickers without the Boron logo. The other 17 stickers have the Boron logo.
