Measuring 13 ⅜ inches in diameter, the piece features a deep cobalt‑blue background adorned with a delicate constellation of silver stars and a crescent moon with a serene face, a hallmark of Castillo’s imaginative craftsmanship.

The rim is encircled in sterling silver, adding luminous contrast to the matte ceramic surface. The reverse bears the impressed mark “Emilia Castillo © Plata Mexico 013”, confirming authenticity and origin from the renowned Taxco workshop. It is in good vintage/used condition, free of chips.
