MOEBE is a Danish brand created by three people: architects and furniture craftsmen.

Its charm lies in a modern, Nordic minimalism combined with a fresh sense of surprise.

Looking at this frame, you can truly say, “I see—this is what it becomes in the hands of MOEBE.”

They must have thought about how simple a frame could be made.

You might call it a design based on subtraction.

They narrowed it down to the bare minimum parts necessary to form the frame and then disassembled it.

The backing board is made transparent like the front panel, making it even simpler.

Two acrylic glass panels, four oak pieces, and one rubber band (a large rubber band).

That’s all it takes.

Surprisingly, the rubber band plays an important role and serves two purposes.

You sandwich the art between the acrylic glass, surround the four sides with oak wood, and hold it all together with the rubber band.

Then, by pulling out one side of the rubber band, you can hang the frame on the wall!

This completely new idea of a frame offers the enjoyment of almost conversing with the three men who made it during assembly.

What and how will you decorate based on this creativity they present?

Taking advantage of the clear backing, you can insert art smaller than the frame and enjoy the transparent margins, or press flowers and plants inside.

Light in appearance, minimalistic frame, thin at 1.2 cm, transparent canvas, and the ease of hanging with rubber bands... think about what works best with these features♪
