This is a beautiful "PEGGY KARR 04" Signed Fused Art Glass Martini  round plate.Measures approx. : 11  1/4" diameter.Handmade, collectible art-glass  platter.Colored enamel pigments are hand-applied and fused between two layers of recycled glass; each piece has a unique surface texture and bubbles. 100% non-toxic and food-safe; microwave and dishwasher-safe; not for oven.Handmade in the USA by Peggy Karr Glass. She has closed her Art Studio in 2016. The collectible art glass plate is beautiful and practical - perfect for entertaining and as a stand-alone piece of art.  Using a series of complex stencils, powdered enamel pigments are hand-applied between two layers of recycled glass and kiln-fired at over 1,500 degrees Fahrenheit. The process fuses the glass and pigments together, permanently sealing in the design. The result is a beautiful, durable, food-safe serving piece that is microwave and dishwasher safe. Hand-crafted nature, each piece has a unique character of bubbles and surface texture and may vary slightly in size.
