Hiroaki "Rocky" Aoki {1938-2008} Hand Signed 8x10 Glossy Color Photo. BENIHANA RESTAURANT CHAIN FOUNDER. Japanese born American celebrity, entrepreneur, sportsman and daredevil. Aoki was a wrestler who qualified for the 1960 Olympics, and is a member of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. As an entrepreneur Aoki founded the Japanese Steakhouse chain "Benihana." Aoki was also a noted offshore powerboat racer who was nearly killed in a crash in 1979. He died in 2008. This photo shows Aoki promoting a NEC mobile phone in the mid-1980s. Mint condition.
