SAEC SR-500 uses a shell lead wire that employs a PC-Triple C conductor. Shell lead wires are essential for maximizing the cartridge's performance.

PC-Triple C utilizes a unique continuous forging and stretching technology to minimize grain boundaries that impede signal transmission, ensuring the longitudinal continuity of the crystals and achieving superior conductivity. By reducing conductor resistance, sound is transmitted smoothly from low to high frequencies, resulting in a wide dynamic range and a high S/N ratio.

SAEC SR-500 also uses a fluororesin insulator with a low dielectric constant, designed to maximize performance.
