In late 2022, Galerie Canesso in Paris mounted an exhibition of the art of Italian artist Evaristo Baschenis (1617-1677) who specilaised in painting musical instruments, The sub-title to the exhibition was "The triumph of musical instruments in art in the 17th Century" reflecting Baschenis' skill in appealing to lovers of both music and art.

This book accompanied the exhibition, not just as a catalogue but as a biography and description of Baschenis' work. The book is in French. It is scarce - I have been unable to find any others online. It is in literally as-new condition. It is priced based on the original pricing.
