Before purchasing:

This is what you will be expecting in the letter and number kit:

Please note that these are unsewn letter shown in this auction (C or A). You are just buying the C or the A shown only, NOT the jersey.

Please note that I am able to make other C and/or A. Just ask!

For one-color A or C

You will have iron the A or C onto the jersey to keep it in place. Then you sew the A (or C) itself onto your own jersey.

 

For multi-color A or C (2 or more colors)

You will have iron the colors together first (for multi-color numbers) and then sew the colors together. Finally, you sew the LETTER (A or C) itself onto your own jersey. Because each color/layer comes loose, the heat-activated glue at the back of each color will help keep the colors in place while you sew them together.

Other details:

1. All customized are made locally in house in Canada and made to order ourselves. This helps reduce and help cuts the overhead (and the middleman) and cost to pass the savings down to you!
2. All letter and numbering are being cut using a professional cutter and the Poly-Twill Material (100% Polyester Twill) is used.

3.      We will not fuse/glue or tack the colors. The reason is that if we do that, and when you sewn it together, you are not able to re-align the position of the colors and the letters. Therefore the layes and colors will come loose so you are able to adjust the position correctly when you or the seamstress sewns it together

 

4.      Here are my default sizing. However, I can make it the size you needed. Just ask and we can make it happen!

C or A – 4” tall overall (with 1/8” border if applicable)

5.      When you receive the product, the twill/fabric may crease, folded or sometimes curled up. This is normal and this is not a defect. As during shipment, the item may have shifted and got creased up or sometimes it is needed to fold the nameplate letters and/or numbers to fit it in the envelope. To get rid of the crease, like ANY fabric, all you need to do is to iron it out (or if you use a heat press, even better). Once you iron the creased part, the crease will disappear (The heat activated glue at the back does require an iron on a heat press and that will flatten all creases out). This goes the same for the curling if it happens.

6.      The product will be shipped only with a brown or white envelope only if paid with lettermail. If you require additional protection (ie cardboard as a backing to protect more, etc), Expedited shipping must be used and there may be an extra cost to it.

• Care Instructions:Machine wash inside-out using mild detergent. Do not use bleach. Dry at a normal dryer setting on household machines. Do not dry clean

Instructions on how to apply this to your jersey (if you decide to sew it yourself)

 

Heat Press Instructions for Tacking:
Time: 8-10 seconds
Temperature: 330°F/165°C
Pressure: Medium

 

1-Colour Application Instructions:

• Tacking for 2-3 seconds will allow you to realign letters if any shifting has occurred.
• A tight, zig-zag stitch or satin stitch is recommended for sewing Poly-TWILL.
• Be sure to use a Heat Printing Pillow inside the garment to prevent marks on transfers and lettering.

2+ Colour Application Instructions:

• Tack: Tack foreground to background with heat press or iron between two Reusable Cover Sheets.
• Sew: Sew foreground to background before tacking to garment.
  Final Application: Pre-press garment and tack your pre-sewn two-color lettering in place for final sewing.
