I am selling a "Giant" pencil sharpener manufactured by the Automatic Pencil Sharpener Co.—or APSCO for short. It was produced around the mid-1930s. It is in very good condition, and the celluloid casing remains undamaged. A unique feature of this particular model is its shavings receptacle. It should be screwed onto a wooden board—or directly onto a desk (though you didn't hear that suggestion from me!)—as the pencil must be held steady and pressed into the sharpener while sharpening.

Vendo un sacapuntas automático "Giant" de la compañía Automatic Pencil Sharpener Co., o APSCO para abreviar. Fue fabricado a mediados de la década de 1930. Está en muy buen estado y el celuloide aún está intacto. Una característica especial de este modelo es el depósito de virutas. Debe atornillarse a una tabla o directamente a la mesa (esto no lo he dicho yo), ya que el lápiz debe sujetarse y presionarse contra el sacapuntas mientras se afila.
