A fascinating piece of Bristol’s industrial heritage. This trade token was issued by Franklyn, Davey & Co. for use at their factory site on Raleigh Road.

• Obverse: Features the text "FRANKLYN DAVEY & CO. RALEIGH ROAD" around the perimeter with "1/2 D" in the center circle.

• Reverse: Plain/Heavily worn (as shown in photos).

• History: The building mentioned on this coin is now the iconic Tobacco Factory theater and cafe bar. This token would have been used by factory workers during the height of the tobacco trade in Bristol.
