These Antique Jockey Club Paris Opera Glasses are a rare and unique set of vintage binoculars made in France.


The Jockey Club Paris binoculars are associated with the prestigious French gentlemen's club, Le Jockey Club, and are known for their historical significance, especially in the context of horse racing and 19th-century Parisian society. These binoculars, often found in antique shops, are prized by collectors for their craftsmanship and connection to a bygone era. 


Generally, there is low distance viewing and used at horse races. Condition : The glass has wear and dust but no cracks. The adjustment dial moves. We did not attempt to clean these due to the antique nature of this item. The leather shows wear. Please view the images as well.

Dating is difficult on these. The Jockey Club began in 1834. The binoculars were said to be made from then up to 1920 but may have been later.
