This set of five coffee mugs are in miraculous condition given their age, which I determine is from the 1930s or 1940s. I found no comparables. I believe the body of the mugs are made from aluminum and the handles from chrome-plated steel. These scream Art Deco / Streamline Moderne and bring back everything chic and cozy from that golden era.

I suspect these may have been part of a picnic or campware set, but they're sturdy enough for everyday use. I didn't do any cleaning or polishing. They're just amazing survivors. Lightweight too.
