The Patek Philippe marks the first time the Aquanaut line incorporated a flyback chronograph—bringing high complication into one of Patek’s most sport-oriented collections. The stainless steel 42.2 mm case carries a distinctive octagonal bezel with polished and satin finishes, matched with a black embossed dial that delivers visual texture and depth.
The dial features a large 60-minute chronograph counter at 6 o’clock, bright orange accents for sport-watch appeal, and a date window at 3 o’clock. It comes on an orange rubber strap, underlining its active-luxury character. With its sporty silhouette, advanced functionality and approachable material while retaining Patek’s finishing standards, the 5968A-001 captures both heritage and modernity in a single reference.
*This Aquanaut was professionally cut to size by Patek Philippe at the time of original sale, as is standard practice for new deliveries, and comes with extra black rubber strap, as well as a stylus.
