From my own personal private collection comes this fabulous IWC Portofino Chronograph which I have owned for over 7 years.
I might well regret this, but impending retirement is making me focus on what I really actively enjoy wearing and so I’m being brutal in terms of moving watches on that for whatever reason just don’t get much wrist time but aren’t nailed on keepers - hence this one is being made available from my collection:
Lovely IWC Portofono Chronograph from 2018. Bought from new by myself, so it’s been around a while, but I’ve only worn it on average about five days per year (which kind of figures if you’ve been daft enough to have collected too many watches during that period and enjoyed wearing them all in rotation.
It keeps exceptionally good time. My watchmaker gave it the once over about a year back and it’s been absolutely spot on since then. Judge for yourself from the photos below what it looks like condition wise.
In the last two weeks before this listing, my watchmaker gave the watch a full professional polish. The first 5 photos were taken after that professional polishing. The remainder were taken before the polishing.
PLEASE NOTE that there is a little dent on the outer case (not the bezel) and it is located on the outer edge of the case body at around the 10 o’clock mark. I have done my very best to show this little imperfection in close-up photographs 2 and 4 and 5 - please look at them carefully before making an offer. Obviously it does not deter from the operation of this fabulous timepiece and is honestly invisible when looking at the watch to tell the time, as you can hopefully see from the straight on photographs.
