One of the most respected mid‑range decks from Micro’s golden era. It has been cleaned, checked, and fully tested. 

The tonearm fitted to this MR‑322 is I believe a Lustre‑built OEM arm, supplied on certain Micro Seiki models in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

While it is extremely difficult to confirm the exact OEM variant without dismantling the arm, the machining, bearing housing, counterweight design and overall construction are all consistent with Lustre’s engineering style (the same company behind the GST‑1 and GST‑801).Lustre arms are known for superb machining, excellent bearings long‑term reliability, precise tracking and compatibility with a wide range of cartridges.

This arm is in excellent condition and performs exactly as it should. These arms last decades for a reason, they were exceptionally well made. 

For this sale, I will only sell the MR-322 and Tonearm together as this is a completely original and collectable combination. A very rare find indeed, in over 45 years of collecting turntables and tonearms, I've never seen another one like it.   

Condition:

Plinth and top plate in very good condition. Original dust cover is near perfect , especially when it's age is taken into account. All functions working correctly. Speed stable, Tonearm bearings smooth and free, Audio‑Technica head-shell included. 

This Deck Is Special, Micro Seiki turntables are highly regarded for their engineering quality, and the MR‑322 is no exception. Paired with the Lustre OEM arm. This is a rare and unusual, genuine (Time warp) find it's original owner had looked after it extremely well, as have I. Ideally, I'd love to find a buyer who will carry that tradition on. This beautiful looking, great sounding and incredibly well preserved item needs to be part of a dedicated system not sat on a shelf for my interest.

Collection is encouraged and recommended. It can be packed carefully for shipping, which will mean that you will need to be reasonably competent and fully able to set it up in your own system. Price shown is next day fully insured.

It’s worth noting that fully serviced MR‑322 turntables are becoming extremely hard to find. A standard example in Holland (without the rare Lustre‑built tonearm fitted to this one) is currently listed at €799, and that’s for a more common configuration. There is also a specialist company in Germany offering MR‑322 rebuilds at €970 plus €190 shipping, and that price is just for the restoration service — you still need to supply your own turntable. Realistically, if you bought a parts‑only MR‑322, shipped it to Germany, paid for the rebuild, and had it shipped back, the total cost would be well over £1,000, not including the hassle and risk of international transport.

By comparison, this example is already in excellent condition, fully serviced, fitted with the superior Lustre OEM tonearm, and ready to use. The asking price reflects its rarity, condition, and the genuine cost of achieving a similar standard today.
