Description: Issued by Pavel Bermondt-Avalov, commander of the pro-German West Russian Volunteer Army, based out of the city of Mitau (now Jelgava) in Latvia. With Russian text on one side and German on the other, these notes were intended primarily for German-speaking soldiers and merchants servicing them.
Condition: Extremely Fine (estimated), no horizontal or vertical folds, couple of corner folds, 5mm tear on bottom edge, otherwise very clean, crisp note
