Charles Horner were founded in the 1860s & were based at 23 Northgate, Halifax. The thimbles were patented in 1884 consisting of a 'sandwich' of 3 layers, Sterling Silver, hardened steel & a final burnished layer of Sterling Silver to seal. Thankyou.
