This product is a vintage Santa Clara Pueblo black-on-black pottery piece, featuring traditional Native American design. This is a pot that was made BEFORE the tourist trade got going, my grandfather lived in that area of New Mexico in the 30s and he personally knew Maria martinez and her husband Julian, visited their home and purchased many pots from them.( Although this was not in his collection, it is  a high quality pot with just 1 rough spot ,see last picture)
