Known for its precision engineering and smooth action, this paddle is a staple for any serious CW operator.

​Condition: Excellent. The black powder-coated base shows only minor paint wear along the edges (please see high-resolution photos for detail).

​Performance: Operates perfectly with the responsive, tactile feel Bencher is famous for - see video.

​Included: Comes with a 42" shielded cable terminated with a 1/4" stereo connector, making it "plug-and-play" for most modern rigs.

Many years ago I visited the Bencher factory when it was located in Antioch, IL. Their primary business was making camera tripods and dollies for professional photography and filmmakers. They eventually sold the amateur radio product division. Vibroplex carries the BY-1 in their current catalog.
