This side saddle cane features a silver-plated top modelled in intricate detail as a horse wearing a bridle with reins, with a small ring, embossed with the maker:

G. & J. Zair were independent whip & walking stick makers founded in the 1830s in Birmingham until they were bought by Swaine & Adeney in 1927.
Black varnished plaited shaft with a green cord end.
