A Georgian Regency period flame mahogany veneered tea caddy with a maximum length of 7.65 inches (195 mm), a width of 4.65 in (118 mm) and standing at a height of approximately 5 inches (127 mm).The caddy retains its original brass loop swing handle, hinges and ornate escutcheon and is lockable with a period key.
It has stained pine lids for each of the 2 interior sections.
The caddy is in very good condition overall with good colour and patina and with some expected marks and wear commensurate with age and use, none of which detract.
