This sale is for quite a nice clean condition none working Sony WM-D6C Professional Walkman.
Condition: Just a few paint chips on the top of the unit ( pictured). The Perspex dust cover will need to be glued in place and this has some slight scuffs Marks.
Problem's:
Power Issues:
No power or led light's from Batteries, I have not tried a power brick.
Mechanical Issues:
(Locked/Jammed mechanism) this does not fully retract. When play is locked in place the mech does not quite fully retract when the stop button is pressed (see picture 9) due to this a cassette tape can not be accepted inside. Record button is jammed will not press in. Forward and reverse buttons do not lock in place.
Stop, Play and pause button's are in working condition. All spindles turn smooth and freely.
The heads and pinch roller look to be in very good clean condition, the Pinch roller spins freely. Battery compartment looks very clean.
This is strictly a spares unit or possible repair for someone who has knowledge on mechanical and electrical experience with these units. Due to this being sold mainly for a spares unit returns will not be accepted on this item.
