Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41 — Ref. 124300 | Yellow Lacquer Dial | 2021 | Card Present
Background on the reference:
Rolex introduced the lacquer color dials on the OP41 in 2020 and they immediately became the most talked-about watches in the brand's catalogue — not for complications or prestige, but for the sheer audacity of putting a yellow dial on an Oyster Perpetual. The yellow specifically struck a chord: bold without being garish, instantly recognizable, and surprisingly wearable. Rolex has since replaced the 124300 entirely with the new 134300, which moves to matte pastel dials in pistachio, lavender, and beige.
The yellow lacquer is gone from the lineup and won't be coming back. This is one of the ones that defines that era of OP collecting.
The watch:
41mm Oystersteel case. Yellow lacquer dial, glossy and vivid in person in a way photos don't quite capture. Calibre 3230 inside — Rolex's own movement, -2/+2 seconds per day accuracy, 70-hour power reserve, Parachrom hairspring. Oyster bracelet with Easylink comfort extension. This is a no-frills, time-only watch.
2021 example, worn and cared for. Condition is consistent with a collector-owned piece — not a showroom queen, not a beater. Dial and hands are excellent. Case shows light wear.
What's included:
- Watch + Oyster bracelet (extra 2 links included, enough for 7 total links either side, including bracelet end link)
- Rolex warranty card (2021)
- Rolex Service Pouch
No box. No Manual.
Why this one:
You're not getting a yellow lacquer 124300 from an AD. Rolex moved on, the dial is discontinued, and the secondary market is where this reference lives now. A 2021 card-present example in honest collector condition is exactly what serious buyers are looking for. No service needed — runs perfectly.
Selling from a personal collection. Not a dealer. Gladly answer any questions.
