Reference 116613LN — produced from 2009 through 2020, when it was succeeded by the 126613LN — represents the mature expression of the stainless steel and yellow gold Submariner before the generation upgrade to caliber 3235 and the broader case refinements of the current series. Among Submariner collectors, the 116613LN is now firmly established as a complete reference with a defined production window, a status that consistently supports collector interest as examples in exceptional condition become harder to source through traditional channels.
The 40mm stainless steel case is paired with an 18-karat yellow gold unidirectional rotating bezel fitted with a black ceramic insert carrying yellow gold-toned pip and dive scale markings. The matte black dial presents luminous round hour markers and Mercedes hands, with a date aperture at three o'clock fitted with a Cyclops lens. The three-link Oyster bracelet alternates brushed stainless steel and polished yellow gold center links. Caliber 3135 drives this reference, water-resistant to 300 meters.
