This is a beautiful desk. Just picked it up from a family that I am consigning for. Along with a bunch of other antiques that I will be listing very shortly. I’m guessing this is from the early 1900s perhaps even late 1800s. My guest comes from the detail, especially in the back as you can see how it was built. This appears to be put together with all wood pegs. I don’t believe nails are screws were used in this construction. The current condition is very good. It does have normal wear before a table this old. It could be refinished and made mint. Currently it is not mint. Nothing is broken. There are some scratches and some chips. And in some areas, there’s some fading to the wood. Especially to the top center drawer probably most likely from a lot of use. So if you look at the pictures, specifically the center drawer right on the very top of the table, you’ll see fading. Also the bottom of the desk where the two peaks come down under the right and left drawer has some rubbing Other than that, it looks really good. The legs are in good shape. This would make a beautiful addition to anyone’s home.

Now comes the shipping part. There are three options in my opinion. First, this is available for local pick up in Brookfield Connecticut. Second you can contact any provider of your choosing such as uship.com and obtain a quote to what it would cost to have this delivered to you. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to do this for everyone who contacts me. It is easy to do. It takes a few minutes and you should have an answer on shipping within an hour or two of the time you submit the quote. third if you are not in a rush to obtain this piece can inquire as to where I might be heading next. I travel all over the country as a mover. Typically I give people two options. The first is if you meet me along my route I charge nothing to bring it along with me. We simply find an area like a truckstop rest area and you pick up the item and  I continue on my route. Second, I can give you a quote to deliver. It directly provided where you live is tractor-trailer accessible. I have trips coming up to California, Texas, South Carolina and others so far scheduled for the summer. There will be many more.
