Up for bids is a 1978 Kenner X-Wing fighter jet in pretty stellar condition. The plastic is super clean, with minimal age discoloration and no notable chips or dings. The wings work, snapping open with a press of R2 and closed with a flick of the blue switch behind him. The battery compartment is clean, and with 2 AA batteries the LED light lights up, but no sound comes out, most likely a disconnected speaker wire, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out where the speaker is to attempt a repair. There are no missiles included, and the pilot glass is missing, but otherwise the ship is complete as far as I can tell, making this a fine addition to any vintage Star Wars collection!
