Shop the past with BlurryRobot!  This is a 30-year bond coupon redeemable in 1923 (30 years after the 1893 issue date) for the princely sum of $25.  Which today would be about $800...but to make the value even more incredible, the bond specifies payment in *gold*.    

No wonder it was redeemed and punched long ago.  

This coupon is probably from the initial bond issue of the Chautauqua traction company, brainchild of A.N Broadhead, who was also the originator of the Jamestown line.
