Up for sale is an Original 1940s Unused Factory Stock Brass GIMBAL SUSPENSION RING for a the Large 85-size WWII era Hamilton Model 21 Marine Chronometer.
The ring measures 5.6 inches (14.4 mm) in outer diameter.
Please note that this ring is for the Large 85-size Hamilton Model 21 clock, and is therefore much too large to fit the small 35-size Hamilton Model 22 chronometer.
This factory new brass gimbal ring was stored for many decades an a box with old factory paper wrapping (old paper paper wrap was tattered and is not offered in this listing). Some of these rings picked up minor scuffs and shallow scratches to the lacquer finish due to storage and rubbing against other rings while in storage.
Only the vintage unused brass gimbal ring is being sold, no clock nor any other items are included.
