I am the original owner of this rucksack and although I love the look and weight, I prefer a rucksack/tote with pockets on the outside. I also prefer a tote with handles/shoulder straps instead of a backpack. I discovered this the one and only time I used it. The interior has no pockets but the back of the pack has one large zippered compartment that measures 13.5 inches wide and 13.5 inches tall. Laid flat, the rucksack measures 21 inches tall and 17 inches wide.
