A great pairing of two action-packed Sega Mega-CD titles from 1993. Road Avenger, developed by Wolf Team and published by Data East, is a high-energy animated FMV driving game in which you declare war on a vicious gang of outlaws, making split-second decisions as you pursue them in your car across a cinematic adventure. Featuring sharp anime-style visuals and a driving CD soundtrack, it remains one of the most entertaining FMV titles on the platform.
Blackhole Assault, developed by Micronet, is a mech-based one-on-one fighting game set in deep space, where players battle powerful Akirov warbots threatening Earth's Solar System. Featuring up to two players, impressive robot character designs, and smooth combat mechanics, it stands out as one of the more unique titles in the Mega-CD library.
