Antique Apollo Studios vanity / powder jar with ornate gilt-tone filigree body, removable clear glass insert, and decorative jeweled lid accent. Approx. 4 3/4" diameter x 2 1/2" high.

A very attractive early 20th century dresser-table piece that can be used as a powder jar, trinket box, jewelry casket, or vanity display item. The underside is marked Apollo, consistent with Apollo Studios vanity wares. Comparable Apollo powder jars and dresser boxes with glass inserts are well documented in the antiques market.

Condition:
No breaks noted in the filigree. No chips, cracks, or repairs noted to the glass insert. General age wear present including finish loss, oxidation/darkening, surface scratches, and wear to the lid top and decorative elements. Sold exactly as shown.
