You are going to see some of my best vintage assembled Scottie jewelry and this is the first piece to show you. I was attending a large antique show well over 10 years ago and saw the booth of this great Bakelite dealer. The thing that was different about her booth was that not only did she have great examples of the usual fun and colorful Bakelite jewelry, but he had upped it a notch by combining stacked component pieces to create even more stunning piece. I have seen some more assembled pieces over the years, but none are even close to what Stacey Porter makes. This is one example . All are rather bold and large and if that is not what you like to wear, It also works to display the together as I have done . I started with 8 pins in special box well, and sold one a couple years ago on eBay when I was selling the first 20 years I sold. I am going to offer two right now and see how many I still offer based on the response from these. i also have a couple of necklaces she made from my own pieces I had and she backed them in sterling. Her work is not cheap, but it is heirloom quality and should be passed from generation to generation. I think of Scotties in terms of black and red anyway and this is kind of reversed with Scottie being red, but the two colors just make the pin pop. It measures about 2 1/'2 x 2 1/2 inches. Thanks for looking and remember this is not one you will ever see again as hers are all OOAK and the talent and attention to details shows in each piece. These were rather expensive and because of that, I have no plans to make offers on the list price for a long time., f ever, so do not miss out waiting for big price break. Thanks for looking and please check back often as i continue to downsize in preparation for moving. Feel free to contact me with questions.
