Includes original window box with “Models of Yesteryear” graphics; box shows light storage wear and a creased window but still presents well on the shelf.


About the real 1928 Mercedes SS
The 1928 Mercedes‑Benz SS (“Super Sport”) was a supercharged 7.1‑litre straight‑six monster, producing around 200–225 bhp and capable of close to 120 mph – outrageous performance for its day. Its long bonnet, sweeping wings and luxurious two‑seat body made it one of the most glamorous sports cars of the late 1920s, feared on the racetrack and admired on the boulevard alike.
