Mary B. Mullett, MagazineWriter, Dead at Clinton CLINTON, Nov. 22. UF Mary B. Mullett, well known feature and magazine writer, died this morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. A. W. Blunt, following a long illness of heart trouble. She started her writing career in Clinton later being employed by the Chicago Tribune, New York World, New York Sun and New York Times. From 1917 to 1924 Bhe was employed as managing editor of the American magazine. While working for the New York Sun, Miss Mullett was credited as being the foremost woman journalist and feature writer of the United States. She was a contributor to many nationally known magazine, frequently writing under various nom de plumes. While employed by the American magazine, Miss Mullett wrote many stories of men and women who have achieved success in various fields. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday. Burial will be in Springdale cemetery, Clinton. -
