Linda Kolar was a New Jersey based painter known for portraits and landscapes in oil. She combined direct color observation with careful drawing, working from life or photo references. She studied at the Art Students League of New York, began exhibiting in the late 1980s, and received many awards in local and regional shows. Her work has been shown in respected New Jersey art centers and galleries.
