Offered here is a highly collectible set of vintage glass buttons made in Germany – U.S. Zone, dating to the Allied occupation period (circa 1945–1949).

These were produced during the U.S. occupation of Germany following World War II, making them a unique piece of both textile and geopolitical history.

New old stock in original packaging. Card shows light age toning and minor wear consistent with age. Buttons remain unused and secured to original card.

📸 Please see photos AND video for full condition details. Video shows clarity and dimension of the glass.

Why This Is Special:
Items marked “Germany – U.S. Zone” were only produced for a short window (1945–1949). Many were used or discarded over time, making surviving examples on original retail cards increasingly scarce.

I have not been able to find another identical carded set online — making this a rare opportunity for:

• WWII occupation memorabilia collectors
• Sewing & textile historians
• Vintage notions collectors
• Museums / archives
• Ephemera collectors
• Mid-century fashion historians

This is true deadstock from a pivotal moment in world history.

✨ A fantastic display piece as well.
