- Remove centre console trim to access the lever mounting bolts.
- Release cable tension, disconnect handbrake cables from the lever.
- Disconnect the warning switch wiring (if fitted on your model).
- Unbolt the lever assembly, remove it from the tunnel.
- Install the replacement, reconnect cables and switch, then adjust handbrake travel.
- Check for smooth ratchet action, correct release, and holding force.
