HKS Racing Suction Kit for Honda Civic Type R FN2

The HKS Racing Suction Kit is designed for compatible Honda Civic Type R FN2 models equipped with the K20A engine.

It replaces the standard airbox and intake pipework with an exposed HKS performance filter and polished aluminium suction pipe. The revised layout is intended to reduce intake restriction and produce a more pronounced induction sound, particularly after the VTEC changeover.

The intake pipework is designed to maintain a suitable airflow-meter signal when installed correctly.

Installation Notes

• Check all intake joints and clamps for air leaks after installation.
• Ensure the airflow meter is installed in the correct orientation.
• Confirm clearance around the bodywork, wiring and engine components.
• Engine-management calibration may be beneficial depending on the complete engine setup.

Important: Confirm the vehicle model, model year, engine code, airflow-meter arrangement and HKS part number before ordering. Increased induction noise is normal with an exposed-filter system. Intake temperature and filter condition should be monitored, particularly on vehicles used in demanding road or track conditions.
