Hermes 2000 portable typewriter professionally serviced and verified for functionality (**see note below). A new ribbon has been installed on vintage metal spools (reuse!). The typewriter comes in the original wood case with internal lock-downs and working latch. A printable PDF file of the original owner instruction manual will be supplied with the typewriter. All my typewriters are serviced by me with 15 years experience. 

Ribbon Reverse NOTE: The 2000 features both Auto and Manual ribbon reverse, however the auto-reverse does not work as there is a tiny spring missing which I don't have a replacement for. Simply use the manual ribbon reverse levers on the L/R sides of the typewriter which do the same thing with no loss of functionality. The levers are shown and described in the accompanying PDF instruction manual.
