Champlevee Enamel over Sterling Silver

This Fuentes bee pin has a mottled blue and black enamel body.   The wings have white centers surrounded by blue (turquoise or aqua color) enamel.

Fuentes was an enamelist in the studio of Margot de Taxco. 

After the closing of Margot's studio he continued to make lovely pieces under his own name, with his signature enamel technique.
