This auction is for a Ludwig 5" x14" Black Galaxy,  Acrolite  "Blacrolite"  snare drum.  This drum is in very good clean original condition.  The serial number is #6291501.  This drum has the white plastic washers on the tension rods that came with later issue Blacrolites.  The Ludwig P 85  throw off is brand new. The one that came with the drum was bent up and needed to be replaced and I did that.  The batter head is a brand new Remo Ambassador coated and snare side is original.  The snare side head  does have some dents that do not show up under tension.    The snare wires are the original 20 strand Ludwig that are held on with the plastic straps.  There is a working muffler in perfect shape.  The finish is a black sparkle coating that looks great.  All the threads are good on the drum and everything works as it should.  I believe this model of Ludwig snare was introduced in 1994 and they stopped making this model in 2014.  I have sold a lot of these drums and they are getting harder to find in this shape and condition.
