Hi I am selling some of my odd items I have collected over the years. The Queens crown plaque from 1952 RAF No. 35 Maintenance Unit Metal Sign RAF No. 35 Maintenance Unit Metal Sign is a plaque issued during the era of 1952 onwards in Great Britain. This collectable item celebrates the Army service of the RAF with a particular focus on the No. 35 Maintenance Unit. Has the words “We have served and ever shall” and also has the queens crown. Measures approximately 18 inches tall x 14 inches wide. Is showing signs of patina and one support on back missing. The sign came from a building in London from outside a storage unit where RAF plane parts were kept supplying planes .The sign pays tribute to the history and contributions of the unit during falklands war etc, making it a valuable piece for collectors interested in military memorabilia from this time period.
