A scarce, signed, limited edition of this poem from American Fireside poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, featuring the beautiful tipped in colour plates of English artist Sidney Harold Meteyard. One of 250 copies printed, signed by Meteyard to the limitation page. Meteyard worked in a late Pre-Raphaelite style heavily influenced by the Arts and Crafts Movement, with this being his most notable publication. First published in 1851, Longfellow's epic poem follows a tormented Lucifer.
