Step-by-step
- Allow engine to cool. Disconnect the battery negative if working near wiring.
- Remove any undertray/splash guard if required to access the charge-air routing.
- Locate the pipe between turbo outlet and intercooler (see install map above).
- Mark hose orientation, then loosen clamps / release clips at both ends.
- Unbolt the mounting bracket(s), then carefully remove the pipe.
- Inspect seals/O-rings (if fitted) and mating surfaces; clean oil residue.
- Fit the replacement pipe, align correctly, tighten clamps evenly, refit bracket bolts.
- Start engine, check for boost leaks (listen for hiss), then road-test gently.
